van Iperen: Transforming our ERP

Situation

After 40 years of custom development it was time to reinvent the current ERP. 2 million lines of RPG code and 500+ applications on the IBMi AS400 system needs updating.

After searching for a product in the market that could potentially replace the current system(SAP, Exact and others.), but coming up short. The decision was made to do a rebuilt where business processes will remain but all legacy code will be dropped.

Goal

Re-engineer the complete ERP and integrations on modern tech standards with a dedicated team (TaaS) from Pionect and a team from van Iperen.
